I'm looking for the following: jmpscmdext32.dll

I beleive it is a file for MS Outlook as everytime I open Outlook, it pops up a warning that this dll is missing. The only thing I have found that doesn't work in Outlook thus far is my Out of Office Assistant.

INSTRUCTION TO REMOVE THE ERROR:
- From Microsoft outlook, go to "Tools"
- Scroll to "Trust Center"
- A large box should show up in the middle of your screen
- Hit "Add-ins" on the left side of screen
- Next, at the bottom of the screen, under "Manage" (drop down menu)
- Go to "Exchange Client Extensions" and hit "Go"
- Next, uncheck "CMP Extension" and hit "OK"
- Log out of Microsoft Outlook and then log back in

I was having this issue on multiple clients on our network.

the above posted fix would work temporarily while that user had the login session active but after log off and back on it reverted back.

My issue was on a computer running office/outlook 2003

Long story short here is a fix for others who might experience this.

Open Outlook
Navigate to the Add-ins
Tools -> Options -> Other -> Advanced Options -> Add-in Manager

Here you will see the installed addins. The above listed fix has you unselect the CMP Extension for it, but if that isnt a longterm fix for you, as it wasnt for me, do the following

Click "Install"

This opens up the "Install Extension" window, click the "up directory" button. This will show you where your outlook is referencing its <HomeDir> that you see in the .ecf files
for me it was referenced to OFFICE11 though my jmpscmdext32.dll file was located in OFFICE10.

search for where you jmpscmdext32.dll file is located, I bet it is not located in same location.
copy the jmpscmdext32.dll file, from its current location, to that directory you found from the "Install Extension" part listed above.
