On trying to open Outlook Express I get the message -
"Outlook Express could not be started because MSOERES.DLL could not be found. Outlook Express may not be installed properly."
I downloaded MSOERES.DLL and put it in the Outlook Express folder in Program Files. I consented when asked if I wanted to replace an older file with the same name (this made me think that at least it was the right place to put it).
Now I still get the same message from OE.
I tried copying the DLL file and pasting one in the Internet Explorer folder but there was no change.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me, I really don't want to lose all my OE settings and old mail by having to reinstall.

It's ok, nevermind, I gave up and downloaded Mozella Thunderbird. †It imported all my settings and old mail from OE so I'm sorted.
EDIT I've also managed to have two names on this forum. Technology isn't my strong point!
