Any help is greatly appreciated... When I try to open Device Manager in WindowsXP Home, I get the following error: "mmc.exe - Bad Image... The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\mmcbase.DLL is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation disckette."

Any ideas. Thanks in advance for your help.

Try downloading the file from our archive at this link, and place it in the system32 folder to replace the one currently there. In the meantime you can access device manager by typing devmgmt.msc in the run box under your start menu. Let us know if there's anything else.
